| Day 01 | Arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport and transfer to your colonial hotel in Colombo. In the afternoon information regarding the tour followed by a welcome cocktail, and afterwards make a city tour of Colombo, which includes Fort, Pettah, the Gangarama temple, a Museum and the Town Hall. Dinner and overnight at hotel in Colombo. |

| Day 02 | After breakfast leave for Anuradhapura (a World Heritage Site) Sri Maha Bodhi (sacred Bo-Tree) was brought as a sapling of the tree under which Prince Siddhartha attained to enlightment. En route stop at Aukana to see the tallest Buddha Statue of Sri Lanka. Visit Mihintale. Dinner and overnight at hotel in the Cultural Triangle area. | |||||
| Day 03 | After breakfast leave for Polonnaruwa, the second capital city of Sri Lanka built in the 11th and 12th centuries. Visit the ruins of the Royal Palace, Gal Viharaya where the splendid statues of the Budda in 'Upright', 'Sedentary' and 'Recumbent' postures are carved out of rock, Audience Hall, Lotus Bath, statue of king Parakumbahu and Parakrama Samudraya - a lake built by King Parakumbahu. At Habarana make an optional safari on an elephant to the jungle. Evening proceed climb 5th century Sigiriya Rock Fortress which is a world heritage site, built by King Kashyapa (477-495 AD) The 'Lion Rock' is a citadel of unusual beauty rising 200 meters from the scub jungle. Visit the world renowned frescos of the 'Heavenly Maidens' of Sigiriya, which are in a sheltered pocket of the rock approached by a spiral stairway. These frescos are painted in earth pigments on plaster. Dinner and overnight at hotel in the Cultural Triangle Area. | |||||
| Day 04 | Breakfast at hotel, visit Dambulla rock temple built by King Walagambahu, in the 1st Century B.C. The name 'Kandy' conjures visions of splendor and magnificence. Many of the legends, traditions and folklore are still lovingly kept alive. The Kandy lake built by the last Sinhala king Sri Wickrama Rajasinghe in 1798, and a world heritage city. En route stop at Matale to see a Hindu temple, visit to a Sri Lankan School, a batik factory to and a spice garden to see different spices, and how some of these spices are grown and processed. Later in the evening visit to the temple of tooth, followed by experience a show of cultural Performers. Dinner and overnight at hotel in Kandy. | |||||
| Day 05 | After breakfast proceed to Elephant Orphanage in Pinnawela, established in 1975, commenced with seven orphans. Today some of these orphans enjoy the fortune of seeing their grandchildren born in the same location. Afternoon leave for visit Embekka, wood carving temple & Gadaladeniya, stone carving temple, walking through a village to see the Village Life. Visit Royal Botanical Gardens in Peradeniya. Evening enjoy the city tour of Kandy. Visits to Gem Museum, Upper Lake, Arts & Crafts Centre, and explore the Kandy bazaar on your own. Dinner and overnight at hotel in Kandy. | |||||
| Day 06 | After breakfast leave for Nuwara Eliya, known as 'Little England'. Journey by train between Kandy and Nanu-oya. See the mountains covered with tea bushes and cascading waterfalls, could be arrange at no extra cost. Visit the tea plantation and a tea factory. Observe the process of manufacturing tea, tea grading and taste a cup of pure Ceylon tea. City tour of Nuwara Eliya. Enjoy a walk through Vegetable Garden. Dinner and overnight at Hotel in Nuwara Eliya. | |||||
| Day 07 | After breakfast travel through a beautiful landscape & see the widest waterfall of Sri Lanka, 'St. Clair'. Enjoy the rich nature. Brief Stop at the Tea Kiosk passing the 'Devon' waterfall. Drive through Kithulgala where the Oscar Winning movie 'Bridge on the River Kwai' was filmed. On the hill above this town, a prehistoric cave was recently discovered containing large middens of shell from some unknown civilization. Breakfast at the hotel; continue the beach stay or transfer to the airport for the onward flight. | |||||
