| Day1:
Arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport and transfer
to your colonial hotel in Colombo. In the afternoon information
regarding the tour followed by a welcome cocktail, and afterwards
make a city tour of Colombo, which includes Fort, Pettah, the Gangarama
temple, a Museum and the Town Hall. Dinner and overnight at hotel
in Colombo.

02: After breakfast leave for Anuradhapura (a World Heritage
Site), the first capital and undoubtedly the grandest city of the
ancient Sri Lanka. Sri Maha Bodhi (sacred Bo-Tree) was brought as
a sapling of the tree under which Prince Siddhartha attained to
enlightment. At Brazen Palace (2nd Century B.C) with its 1600 stone
colomns see the remains of a magnificent multi-storied residence
for monks. Ruwanweliseya (2nd century B.C) is the most famous of
all the Dagobas and the Isurumuniya rock temple (3rd Century B.C)
is known for its rock carvings. En route visit to a Coconut factory
& Coconut fiber factory to see the products manufactured from
Coconut. Stop at Aukana to see the tallest Buddha Statue of Sri
Lanka. Visit Mihintale, The Cradle of Buddha the town where Buddhism
first overwhelmed the people of Sri Lanka. Dinner and overnight

03: In the morning climb the 5th century Sigiriya Rock Fortress
which is a world heritage site. Visit the world renowned frescos
of the 'Heavenly Maidens' of Sigiriya, which are in a sheltered
pocket of the rock approached by a spiral stairway. These frescos
are painted in earth pigments on plaster. Optional safari on an
elephant to the jungle at Habarana. Evening walk through a village
to discover day to day life style. Dinner and overnight at hotel
in the Cultural Triangle Area.

4: Excursion in Polonnaruwa (a World Heritage Site), the
second capital city of Sri Lanka built in the 11th and 12th centuries.
Visit the ruins of the Royal Palace, Gal Viharaya where the splendid
statues of the Budda in 'Upright', 'Sedentary' and 'Recumbent' postures
are carved out of rock, Audience Hall, Lotus Bath, statue of king
Parakumbahu and Parakrama Samudraya - a lake built by King Parakumbahu.
There are also monuments of famous places of worship such as the
Shiva Temple, Lankathilake, Watadage, Galpotha, Kiri Vehera and
the remains of a former Temple of the Tooth Relic. Enjoy a Cycle
Tour at ancient city of Polonnaruwa. En route visit to Medirigiriya
Ruins. Evening free to relax. Dinner and overnight stay in the Cultural
Triangle area.

5: Breakfast at hotel, visit Dambulla rock temple built by
King Walagambahu, in the 1st Century B.C. it is a world heritage
site, and the most impressive of Sri Lanka's cave temples. Leave
for the last capital of the Sri Lankan kings. The name 'Kandy' conjures
visions of splendor and magnificence. Many of the legends, traditions
and folklore are still lovingly kept alive. The Kandy lake built
by the last Sinhala king Sri Wickrama Rajasinghe in 1798, and a
world heritage city. En route stop at Matale to see a Hindu temple,
visit to a Sri Lankan School, a batik factory to and a spice garden
to see different spices, and how some of these spices are grown
and processed. Dinner and overnight at Hotel in Kandy.

6: After breakfast proceed to Elephant Orphanage in Pinnawela,
established in 1975, commenced with seven orphans. Today some of
these orphans enjoy the fortune of seeing their grandchildren born
in the same location. Now its home for over 65 elephants and babies.
Afterwards visit to Royal Botanical Gardens in Peradeniya. Evening
enjoy the city tour of Kandy. Visits to Gem Museum, Upper Lake,
Arts & Crafts Centre, and explore the Kandy bazaar on your own.
Enjoy TUK TUK (Three wheeler) tour around Kandy lake and visit to
the temple of tooth, followed by experience a show of cultural Performers.

7: After breakfast leave for Nuwara Eliya, known as 'Little
England'. Journey by train between Kandy and Nanu-oya. See the mountains
covered with tea bushes and cascading waterfalls, could be arrange
at no extra cost. Visit the tea plantation and a tea factory. Where
the best tea in the world is produced. Observe the process of manufacturing
tea, tea grading and taste a cup of pure Ceylon tea. Dinner and
overnight at hotel in Nuwara Eliya.

8: Enjoy your breakfast in the misty climate of the hill
country and leave for visit Horton Plains, better known as the 'World's
End'. Enjoy the nature rich area. Evening make the city tour of
Nuwara Eliya. Dinner and overnight in Nuwara Eliya.

9: Leave for Tissamaharama in the afternoon, while visiting
Rawana Ella Water Fall en route. Afternoon make a safari in Yala
National Park. Yala is the largest National Park in Sri Lanka and
is home to wild elephants, wild boars, wild buffaloes, leopards,
bears, deer's and crocodiles. Large flock of migratory and indigenous
girds are also found here. Dinner and overnight in Kataragama /
Yala.

10: Morning visit to Kataragama temple, where pilgrims come
for worship. Leave towards south-west coast. Travel through Tangalle
and Matara. En route visit the 'Blowhole' at Hummanaya and the ancient
Buddhist temple at Weherahena. In Koggala see the stilt fishermen
seated on poles mounted. In Galle visit to Old Dutch Fort. In Hikkaduwa
make a tour in a glass-bottom boat to see the impressive underwater
corals. Visit moonstone mines at Meetiyagoda. Transfer to airport
for onward flight or to selected beach hotel for continue beach
holidays in Sri Lanka.
