SRI LANKA MINI TOUR

06 Nights / 07 Days

Day 1:	Arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport and transfer to beach hotel in Negombo. In the afternoon information, briefing of tour along with a welcome cocktail and make City tour of Negombo, visit the remaining of the Dutch period, a Buddhist temple and a Catholic church. See a fishing village, the fish market, and the bazaar. Make an optional Boat Trip in Dutch Canal, Lagoon & Sea. Late evening experience Sri Lankan Cookery Demonstration at Ocean park Restaurant in Negombo with typical Sri Lankan style dinner. Overnight at Hotel in Negombo.

Day 2:	After breakfast proceed to Elephant Orphanage in Pinnawela, established in 1975, commenced with seven orphans. Today some of these orphans enjoy the fortune of seeing their grandchildren born in the same location.. Afterwards a spice garden to see different spices, and how some of these spices are grown and processed. Dinner and overnight at hotel in Kandy.


Day 3:	After breakfast proceed to visit Dambulla rock temple built by King Walagambahu, in the 1st Century B.C. it is a world heritage site, and the most impressive of Sri Lanka's cave temples At Habarana make an optional safari on an elephant to the jungle. Evening proceed climb 5th century Sigiriya Rock Fortress which is a world heritage site, built by King Kashyapa (477-495 AD) The 'Lion Rock' is a citadel of unusual beauty rising 200 meters from the scub jungle. Visit the world renowned frescos of the 'Heavenly Maidens' of Sigiriya, which are in a sheltered pocket of the rock approached by a spiral stairway. These frescos are painted in earth pigments on plaster. Dinner and overnight at hotel in the Kandy.


Day 4:	Morning visit to Royal Botanical Gardens in Peradeniya. Afterwards enjoy the city tour of Kandy. Visits to Gem Museum, Upper Lake, Arts & Crafts Centre, and explore the Kandy bazaar on your own. Evening make a TUK TUK (Three wheeler) tour around Kandy lake and visit to the temple of tooth, followed by experience a show of cultural Performers. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel in Kandy.

Day 5:	After breakfast leave for Nuwara Eliya, known as 'Little England'. Journey by train between Kandy and Nanu-oya. See the mountains covered with tea bushes and cascading waterfalls, could be arrange at no extra cost. Visit the tea plantation and a tea factory. Where the best tea in the world is produced. Observe the process of manufacturing tea, tea grading and taste a cup of pure Ceylon tea. Dinner and overnight at Hotel in Nuwara

Day 6 :

Enjoy your breakfast in the misty climate of the hill country and leave for visit Horton Plains, better known as the 'World's End'. Enjoy the nature rich area. Leave for Tissamaharama in the afternoon, while visiting Rawana Ella Water Fall en route. Evening visit to Kataragama temple, where pilgrims come for worship. Dinner and overnight at hotel in Tissa / Kataragama.

Day 7

Morning make a safari in Yala National Park. Yala is the largest National Park in Sri Lanka and is home to wild elephants, wild boars, wild buffaloes, leopards, bears, deer's and crocodiles. Large flock of migratory and indigenous girds are also found here. Leave towards south-west coast. Travel through Tangalle and Matara. En route visit the 'Blowhole' at Hummanaya and the ancient Buddhist temple at Weherahena. In Koggala see the stilt fishermen seated on poles mounted. In Galle visit to Old Dutch Fort. In Hikkaduwa make a tour in a glass-bottom boat to see the impressive underwater corals. Visit moonstone mines at Meetiyagoda. Transfer to airport for onward flight or to selected beach hotel for continue beach holidays in Sri Lanka.
